Happy Valentines Sleep Promotion
Valentine’s Day is just a great reminder for me that we should all take a bit of time to think about what we can do for our loved ones.
But what does this have to do with my sleep?
Well, actually a lot.
People that live in a loving environment sleep better than those that are not. Accordingly, we should be thankful for holidays like Valentine’s Day to remind us of the importance of nurturing our relationships. In the end, an essential part of humanity is the need to feel loved.
So, let’s spread love on Valentine’s Day!
A good idea is to take 30 minutes of your time to think about what you can do for your loved one to make him/her feel how important they are for you. Think about what he/she loves to do, to hear, to experience. What lovely memories you share with each other. We want to be honest and personal. Share love.
Limiting your financial resources will ensure that your present gets personal. Let’s face it. Often spending a lot of money is the easy route to take. It’s like saying “this is how important you are for me” without the need to spend time to really get personal.
If you ever heard of the saying that you can’t buy love…this is a good time to think about this true saying again.

Let’s get personal this year. One good way to ensure that you think about important things is to limit your budget for a present. I’ll go with <5$ this year and I invite you to do the same.
A lack of financial resources pushes us to truly think about what matters for the other person. What touches him or her? What experiences and memories do we share with each other? Furthermore, you will feel your creativity spike as you want to hand over something special.
Doing things like
- writing a letter
- designing a card
- having a picnic on the floor
- handing over a flower
- writing a personal poem
- planning a romantic evening
are all things that fall into this category. I’m honestly not sure what I will do this year (and I’ve been really bad to remember Valentine’s Day in the past), but I’ll take my time to find something special today.
And now it’s bedtime…
So you’ve taken your time and created something special that you will hand over to your loved one on Valentine’s Day. Well done you! Now you are lying in bed and your thoughts are positive. Maybe you are thinking about the reaction that your gift will induce. The happiness, joy, and love that you just created. Furthermore, at some point, you will see and feel the love coming back to you.
And what could promote sleep better than to feel loved, connected and safe?
Happy Valentine’s Day &
have a superb sleep
